BUILDING PATHWAYS TO OPPORTUNITY
Build Life Forward Community Development Corporation is based in Jackson, Tennessee, with a vision for stronger communities throughout West Tennessee. We are developing programs and partnerships that expand opportunities for young adults and connect veterans to resources and support. Our work brings together education, workforce preparation, leadership, and community engagement to help individuals build toward economic stability and long-term success.
YOUTH OPPORTUNITY
We are developing opportunities for young adults ages 16–24 to grow through mentoring, leadership development, and pathways to education. Planned activities include GED preparation, educational support, life-skills development, and community service. Through supportive relationships and opportunities to learn and lead, we aim to help young adults build confidence, set goals, and develop a foundation for long-term success.
workforce pathways
Our planned workforce initiatives focus on career exploration, skilled-trades training, and work readiness for young adults. Through hands-on learning, certification preparation, and connections to employers and apprenticeship opportunities, we aim to help participants build practical skills, explore career options, and prepare for meaningful employment. Financial literacy and entrepreneurship education will also support pathways toward economic self-sufficiency.
veteran support
We are building community connections to help veterans access resources and supportive services that strengthen stability, well-being, and connection. Our approach centers on identifying needs, sharing information, and developing relationships with organizations that serve veterans. As these partnerships grow, we aim to help veterans navigate available support and connect with opportunities for community engagement.
